NCLAT permits Indus OS to file impediment applications, Google moves the CCI case to Supreme Court
Google earlier appealed to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) against the CCI’s penalty order for abusing its dominant position in the Android market. France’s CNIL issues an €8 million penalty on Apple for collecting user data without permission
France’s National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) issued an €8 million penalty on Apple for collecting identifying data from App Store users without their permission. The officials said that the firm was profiting from such violations through better ad targeting.

In 2020, Apple has faced a penalty by the country’s competition authority of $1.2 billion (now down to $364.6 million) for alleged antitrust abuses in its distribution chain.
